1

Enroll in Payactiv

Download the Payactiv app or log in on the web. If your employer offers Payactiv, enrollment auto-detects your record. Otherwise, create a profile and verify your identity.

2

Link your pay data

Payactiv connects to your employer's payroll or time-tracking system to calculate your earned wages in real time.

3

Choose a service

Access Payactiv EWA, order a Payactiv Card, set a savings goal, pay a bill, or request $200–$5,000 personal funding through PayactivUSA.

4

Receive funds

Payactiv transfers to the Payactiv Card are usually instant and free. External bank transfers can be next-day ACH (free) or instant for a small fee. Partner personal funding typically funds by next business day.

5

Repay automatically

EWA is reconciled on your next paycheck. Personal funding follows the clearly disclosed schedule from your lender partner.

Step-by-step: Payactiv EWA inside the app

  1. Open the app and tap the Access tab.
  2. Review the "Available to access" dollar amount at the top of the screen. This is a portion of your earned-but-unpaid wages.
  3. Tap Transfer and pick an amount.
  4. Choose the destination — Payactiv Card (instant, free), bank account (next-day free, or instant for a small fee), or cash pickup.
  5. Confirm. For the card, funds typically arrive in under a minute.
  6. On payday, your full paycheck lands as normal. Payactiv is automatically reimbursed the amount you accessed. You will see this on your pay stub as a Payactiv deduction.

Step-by-step: applying for $200–$5,000 funding on PayactivUSA

  1. Visit the PayactivUSA application form on the homepage.
  2. Enter the loan amount you want ($200 to $5,000), your contact details and basic employment info.

  5. If you accept an offer, you e-sign the loan agreement directly with the lender. Funds typically arrive by next business day via ACH to your bank account or Payactiv Card.
  6. Repay on the schedule in your agreement. Most lenders accept autopay from the card or your bank account.
