This Disclosures page centralizes the material legal and financial disclosures that apply to PayactivUSA and the services referenced on this site. Treat it as the authoritative reference when any article, FAQ or marketing copy on PayactivUSA references "see our disclosures."
Nature of PayactivUSA
PayactivUSA is an independent informational and lead-generation website. We are not Payactiv Inc., we are not a lender, we are not a bank, and we are not a credit broker in jurisdictions where that designation requires licensure.
Payactiv trademarks
"Payactiv" is a trademark of Payactiv Inc. "Visa®" is a trademark of Visa Inc. Both marks are used nominatively on this site for the purpose of describing the services being covered. Use of these marks does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship of or endorsement by the mark owners.
Payactiv earned wage access disclosure
Payactiv earned wage access (EWA) is not a loan. It is an advance of wages the user has already earned under their employment arrangement. There is no interest rate, no APR, no credit check and no credit-bureau reporting for the EWA feature. Specific fees for transfer options are set by Payactiv and may vary by employer program; current ranges are described on our rates & fees page.
Visa® Prepaid Card disclosure
The Payactiv Visa® Prepaid Card is a reloadable prepaid card issued by an FDIC-member bank partner. Balances held in the issuing bank's custodial account are eligible for FDIC pass-through insurance up to applicable per-depositor limits. The Payactiv Card is not a credit card and does not report to the consumer credit bureaus. Early direct deposit timing depends on when the payer (your employer or benefits provider) submits the deposit instruction.
$200 – $5,000 personal funding disclosure
Personal funding of $200 to $5,000 referenced on this site is offered through a network of licensed third-party lender partners, not by PayactivUSA. Specific terms vary by state, lender, requested amount, repayment term and borrower profile.
- Not a guarantee of approval: submitting a form on this site is not an approval, offer or guarantee of funding.
- APR and fees: each lender partner provides a Truth in Lending Act (TILA) disclosure before you sign, showing APR, finance charge, total of payments and payment schedule.
- State availability: some products are not available in every state, and some states impose caps on loan size, term or APR for small-dollar lending.
- Credit check: some lender partners perform a soft credit inquiry during pre-qualification and a hard inquiry if you accept an offer. This is disclosed before you consent.
Compensation disclosure
PayactivUSA may receive compensation from lender partners when visitors complete the $200–$5,000 funding form on this site. This compensation does not influence editorial content, article recommendations or the order in which lender partners are presented to applicants. See our full Affiliate & Compensation Disclosure.

Accuracy and corrections
We update Payactiv fee ranges, eligibility criteria and competitive comparisons on a regular review cycle. If you spot an error, please email editorial [at] payactivusa [dot] com. Corrections are made promptly and noted at the bottom of the affected page.
