Our commitment

PayactivUSA is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to people with disabilities. We believe that financial-wellness information about Payactiv — earned wage access, the Payactiv Card, Savings, Live counseling and $200–$5,000 personal funding — should be available to everyone, regardless of ability.

Standards we follow

PayactivUSA aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative. We also design with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act in mind.

What we have implemented

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy on every Payactiv article page.
  • Descriptive alt text for informative images and empty alt for decorative ones.
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation across all Payactiv service pages and blog articles.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background (targeting WCAG AA ratios).
  • Responsive layout that adapts from desktop down to small mobile screens.
  • Form fields with associated labels on the Payactiv application form.
  • Focus indicators preserved on interactive elements.
  • No auto-playing media and no content that flashes more than three times per second.

Areas we are still improving

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We are actively working on:

  • Enhanced screen-reader support for the embedded Payactiv application form.
  • Additional ARIA landmarks in long-form articles.
  • Expanded descriptions for complex data tables (such as our Payactiv rates & fees breakdown).

Assistive technologies supported

PayactivUSA is designed to be compatible with modern assistive technologies including:

  • Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • High-contrast operating-system settings

Alternative access

If a specific page is temporarily inaccessible, we will provide the content in an alternative format (plain text email, phone-read-aloud) upon request while we work on a permanent fix.
